Living language, conversation clubs, and vocabulary trainer
Lectures, excursions, and a library
To start living happily and fully in a new country, it’s important to understand its history, culture, and mindset. That’s why we organize lectures where you can learn slang and regional differences across Serbia, and understand what various graffiti on the walls really mean.

We also go on excursions to cities and landmark locations, such as Subotica or the monasteries of Fruška Gora.
Learning doesn’t end after the lesson. To make sure the language doesn’t stay only in textbooks, we strive to show it as living and real every day.

On our social media — Instagram and Telegram — we share small pieces of everyday Serbian life: from funny memes and everyday expressions to interesting cultural insights and traditions. It’s an easy and unobtrusive way to feel closer to the language, hear how it truly sounds, and see how it’s used in real-life situations.
Daily immersion in language and culture
This allows you to continue learning Serbian even when you can’t physically attend classes (for example, if you’re on vacation or feeling unwell). You can learn more about the course here.
In addition to offline classes, our school offers an online course that you get free access to. It mirrors the main learning program and is enriched with interactive exercises to help reinforce the material.
The online course "Ja govorim srpski" with a vocabulary trainer
In addition to classes, we hold meetings of the conversation club, where we practice spoken language in a safe environment.

Each club is aimed at leveling up a specific skill. For example, we watch TV shows to better understand native speakers. We read a book to expand our vocabulary. We act out situations (in the bank, the police) in order to better solve everyday problems.
From 17 conversation clubs every week
2 classes per week in mini-groups of up to 6 students
Thanks to the mini-group format, classes take place in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere, and the teacher is able to give attention to each student. We strive to make lessons not only goal-oriented, but also an engaging and enjoyable learning journey.

In her teaching, she connects language with Serbian culture, history, and literature, because she believes that language is best learned through a living context.

She speaks English, and also knows German, Spanish, and Russian. By nature, she is calm, patient, and positive, and in her classes she creates a pleasant atmosphere where students can freely speak and learn.

Valerija graduated from the Faculty of Philology at the University of Belgrade, at the Department of Russian Language and Literature. She has been teaching Serbian as a foreign language for more than three years.

Her excellent knowledge of the Russian language helps her clearly explain the specific features and nuances of the Serbian language to students who speak Russian. In addition to Russian, Valerija speaks English, Spanish, Ukrainian, and Turkish.

Her own experience in learning several foreign languages helps her better understand her students and the challenges they face when they start learning a new language from scratch.
Jana Drobnjaković
Teacher
My name is Jana. I completed my bachelor's and master's studies in Slavistics at the University of Belgrade, and I have been teaching Serbian as a foreign language to Russian-speaking students for over 4 years. I have also taught Russian and English to both children and adults.

In addition to teaching, I do proofreading and copyediting of literary texts in Serbian, as well as translation.

My great love is music, and what connects the job of a teacher and a creator is, in my opinion, creativity and openness to new ideas and people. I believe that learning a language is a path to discovering a completely new world within and outside oneself, and I will make sure that your journey with me is interesting!
Sara Erkov
Teacher
I graduated from the Faculty of Philology, majoring in Russian Language and Literature, and I completed my master's studies in linguistics in Moscow. I have been teaching foreign languages for over five years, primarily Serbian as a foreign language to Russian-speaking students.

For me, it is important that students are not afraid to speak and that they start using the language from the very first lessons. That is why I dedicate a lot of attention to conversational practice, try to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and explain grammar simply and with clear examples.

I myself am constantly learning new languages, so I understand very well what really helps people start speaking. And thanks to my knowledge of the Russian language, I know which aspects of Serbian most often pose difficulties for Russian-speaking students.

My goal is to help students not only learn Serbian but to use it freely and confidently in everyday life.

Student reviews
  • Enik
Without a doubt, the best Serbian language school! Or as I can already say, najlepša i najbolja škola srpskog jezika u celom svetu! Great people at the reception, delicious coffee, a variety of activities outside of lessons, in general, everything is great! Special thanks to the beautiful Sonya, the best teacher I've ever met. The lessons and homework were not only useful, but also very interesting! Hvala vam lepo za svi časovi ✨
  • Anastasia Pavlovskaya
Just great school experiences. Next, the administrators are cuties. And Teacher Boyana is my love. In general, I highly recommend it.
  • Iana Petrova
I studied with Boyana, I highly recommend it.
It feels like it's important for Boyana not just to "tell the theory," but for every student to really understand the topic.
It's very comfortable in the classroom and it's not scary to make mistakes. Bojana is a very caring and patient teacher: she will always help, gently correct mistakes and explain again if something is not clear.
  • Maxxie Moor
We studied at this school. We tried three teachers, and I can say that Boyana is the best teacher! A person who genuinely cares about every student, remembers everyone, and looks for an approach to everyone. A very sociable person who speaks Serbian to another person. It was quite difficult to get to her, I had to wait a few months, but it was worth it!
  • Roman Belashov
The best option to learn Serbian for your money. Conversation clubs, lectures on the culture and history of Serbia, online material. There is an accreditation. Bojana is the most wonderful
  • Mary Kha
I am a student of Bojana, I have been learning Serbian for 6 months, now I am opening my own business and I communicate with all authorities without help! I'm very proud of myself! The school has very cool technical support, super flexible conditions, and in difficult and unusual situations they will always tell you how best to act. I love guided tours from school! And yet! I have found friends here, and this is a great gift in emigration!
