About us
Mikhail Ankudinov
Founder and part of the friendly SmartLab team
More than just a language school
From the very beginning, SmartLab was created not just as a language school, but as a true community — a place that could become an important point of support for our students in a new city. Like many of you, we moved to Novi Sad carrying hopes for a new beginning in our hearts. And we deeply understand how important it is to find stability and a sense of belonging in a new country.

That’s why, in addition to language classes, we organize cultural meetups, excursions, a variety of conversation clubs, and lectures on Serbian culture and history. With us, you won’t just start speaking Serbian — you’ll discover authentic Serbia: its cities, nature, and, of course, its people.

Our mission is to create a unique community for relocants in Novi Sad, where language learning goes hand in hand with a friendly atmosphere and cultural immersion. We aim to help you integrate into your new environment and feel truly at home in your new country.

We know from personal experience: once you master the language, you discover a whole new Serbia. Language is the key to successful adaptation, confidence, and meaningful connections. That’s why we are constantly improving what we do — striving to make our school a place our students enjoy coming to, a second home in Novi Sad.

Perhaps this is why our students have grown so attached to SmartLab, and why we quickly became one of the leading schools in Serbia.

We truly believe in our community and sincerely hope that you will become part of it.
